Starttidspunkt optimalt 6-8<br /> uger præoperativt, hvor det er muligt.<br /> * Alkoholintervention iværksættes inden operative indgreb. Starttidspunkt optimalt 4 uger<br /> præoperativt, hvor det er muligt.<br /> I forbindelse med interventionsprogrammerne tilbydes gratis nikotinsubstitution hhv. alkoholabstinensmedicin<br /> og anden understøttende behandling<br /> Identifikation og intervention skal dokumenteres i patientjournalen.<br /> Afslutningsvist skal præoperative interventionsprogrammer opfølges efter operationen ved<br /> behov parallelt til hospitalets generelle retningslinier for opfølgning på behandling.<br /> <br /> == Samlede anbefalinger ==<br /> Sammenhængen mellem rygning, skadeligt alkoholforbrug og udvikling af operationskomplikationer<br /> er veldokumenteret.<br /> Præoperativ rygeintervention har effekt på patienternes perioperative rygevaner og kan reducere<br /> perioperative komplikationer. Det anbefales, at rygeintervention indføres som rutine 6-8<br /> uger inden operative indgreb, hvor det er muligt.<br /> Præoperativ alkoholintervention har effekt på patienternes perioperative drikkevaner og kan<br /> reducere perioperative komplikationer. Det anbefales, at alkoholintervention indføres som<br /> rutine 4 uger inden operative indgreb, hvor det er muligt.<br /> Nikotinsubstitution fordobler effekten af rygeintervention. Det anbefales, at der tilbydes gratis<br /> nikotinsubstitution (som førstevalgspræparat) for patienter, der ”accepterer” præoperativ rygeintervention.<br /> Abstinensmedicin i form af benzodiazepiner (som førstevalgspræparat) og understøttende<br /> disulfiram tilbydes som led i alkoholintervention. Det anbefales, at der tilbydes gratis understøttende<br /> medicin for patienter, der ”accepterer” præoperativ alkoholintervention.<br /> Generelt opfatter operationspatienter tilbud om intervention overfor tobak og alkohol positivt,<br /> og har en særlig høj kompliance i den præoperative periode. Det anbefales, at alle patienter,<br /> der skønnes at have behov herfor, bør tilbydes hjælp til adfærdsændring.<br /> <br /> <br /> Risikopatienter identificeres systematisk i det præoperative forløb, idet de er defineret ved<br /> daglig rygning og skadeligt alkoholforbrug, og risikoen dokumenteres i journalen.</div>
